Now that George Clooney got his Oscar, he’s rounding up his buddies for “Ocean’s 13.”
Stars Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Bernie Mac, Elliott Gould and Don Cheadle are returning, as is director Steven Soderbergh, who also worked on the first two films. Ellen Barkin is joining the cast, filling in for Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who are sitting this one out.
Filming is scheduled to begin in July, and “Ocean’s 13″ should hit theaters next summer.
“Ocean’s 11″ was released in 2001, and the sequel “Ocean’s 12″ was released in 2004. The two films combined have earned more than $800 million worldwide.
