The release date of SUPERMAN RETURNS has been bumped up two days to Wednesday, June 28 to boost ticket sales.
The newest Superman film, which stars Brandon Routh as the Man of Steel, was originally scheduled to hit theaters on June 30.
Studio executives hope to take advantage of the Fourth of July weekend with the film’s opening now a seven days ahead of the holiday.
