I just found a video on YouTube of the South Park kids doing Rush‘s “Tom Sawyer” with Cartman messing up the lyrics. (You can watch the video here after the jump.)
The video is the intro to the popular song on Rush’s summer tour promoting their new album Snakes & Arrows.
I am soooo highly excited about the upcoming RUSH summer tour! I’ve got my tickets for two shows in NY/NJ. And since they are the greatest band that ever was and will ever be, D3 and I are hoping to go to Toronto to see them play their hometown at the end of the summer — PILGRIMAGE!
I’ve been wanting to make this journey since I was nine years old, so I’m hope I can go. I still have A Rush Fan’s Guide to Toronto I printed out from the Internet like 10 years ago. I MUST go and take a photo of myself standing in front of the Parliament building, the setting for the album cover of 1981′s Moving Pictures.

It’s odd. If there’s one band that I think is less appreciated than they deserve it’s Rush… but I’ve never considered myself a fan. Still, Grace Under Pressure is outstanding.

Went to Rush in L.A….. one of My top 5 Concerts EVER….. Beleive it or Not – Power Windows also ranks Top 5….. Geddy, Neil, Alex all Kick Ass! Those that have tickets – Enjoy – Those that don’t – Your missing out!
