‘Shoot ’Em Up’ Trailer

Shoot 'Em UpApple.com now has the trailer for Shoot ‘Em Up, the upcoming action film written and directed by Michael Davis.

Here’s the official synopsis:

A gritty, fast-paced action thriller, Shoot ‘Em Up kicks into high gear with a memorable opening scene and never relents. Clive Owen stars as Mr. Smith, a mysterious loner who teams up with an unlikely ally (Monica Belluci) to protect a newborn baby from a determined criminal (Paul Giamatti) who hunts them throughout the bowels of the city.

Shoot ‘Em Up is scheduled for a September 7, 2007 release.

    Boy oh boy. After Children Of Men, this looks like maybe Clive needed to blow off some steam? It’s got a helluva cast… maybe there’s something there the trailer isn’t showing me but it looks more like a Van Damme vehicle than a flicky worthy of three of our best actors today. I’m still seeing it, though, of course.
