‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ To Debut Online Tomorrow!

Empress Eve   |

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles posterYahoo! TV will premiere the pilot episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles for free for 24 hours beginning January 4, 2008 at 9pm PST/12am EST, which is over a week in advance of show’s FOX television debut.

The exclusive commercial-free premiere will also feature an exclusive introduction by star Lena Headey, who plays Sarah Connor. The series, based on the mythology of the Terminator film franchise, will debut on the Fox channel over two nights on January 13 at 8pm EST/PST and January 14 at 9pm EST/PST.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles represents an exciting reinvention of the Terminator franchise, in which the strong and intrepid Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) discovers that protecting her 15-year-old son, John (Thomas Dekker), and stopping the rise of the machines is more difficult than she had ever imagined. Sarah and John are joined by Cameron (Summer Glau), an enigmatic and otherworldly high school student, who proves to be much more than a friend and James Ellison (Richard T. Jones), an FBI agent hot on their trail who soon becomes a powerful ally.

In this first episode of the series, which takes place between the second and third movies, Sarah takes her son, John, to a small town in Mexico, where he befriends the man who will become his protector.

Caught it last night. It was decent! Better than I was expecting. Worth delving into a few more episodes to see if it keeps its quality.
