CBS Streams Original ‘Star Trek’! NBC Launches ‘Way Back Wednesdays’

Empress Eve   |

Battlestar GalacticaCBS.com is streaming full episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series. Watch full episodes from all three seasons of the classic TV show FOR FREE … RIGHT NOW!

Oh glory be, I’m so happy. Why I’m so excited about this when I already own EVERY episode, I don’t know. Probably the same reason why I jump up and down when the Star Wars trilogy — which I own fifty times over in every format imaginable — comes on cable … hell, even if it’s commercial-filled broadcast television. I’ll take it all any way I can get it.

CBS.com will also stream the first two seasons of Twilight Zone and Season 1 of MacGyver, Hawaii Five-O, and Melrose Place and plans to add more programs and clips in the coming months, according THR.

Last week, NBC.com launched Way Back Wednesdays to stream full episodes of shows such as the original Battlestar Galactica, Night Gallery, Buck Rogers and A-Team. NBC affiliates — SCIFI.com, CHILLERTV.com, SLEUTHCHANNEL.com — will also host streaming video of classic TV shows.
