Hurry up and watch this cam version (here below) of the X-Files 2 teaser trailer that premiered this weekend at WonderCon San Francisco. I’m sure it won’t be long before the powers that be have it taken down.
When that happens, you can head over to /Film, which has a run-down of the teaser as well as info from the film’s panel at WonderCon.
The still-untitled X-Files sequel sees the return of series creator Chris Carter with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprising their respective roles as Agents Mulder and Scully. The movie also stars Billy Connolly and Amanda Peet and was co-written by Frank Spotnitz, a writer from the long-running X-Files television series, who also co-wrote the 1998 big-screen X-Files.
Little is known at this time about the film, except that it’s a stand-alone supernatural thriller which will take the complicated relationship between Mulder and Scully in new directions. USA Today had the first look at the film last month and even they couldn’t get Carter to spill any plot details. Therefore, this teaser trailer is really a teaser.
