Yes is one of my fave groups — one of many prog rock bands that keep getting snubbed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

If it weren’t for Yes, we wouldn’t have Buffy the Vampire Slayer, especially if Joss Whedon had not heard the words from the song And You and I:

There’ll be no mutant enemy we shall certify
Political ends as sad remains will die

“During Horn and Downes tenure Yes had two big hits during the 1980’s: “Owner Of A Lonely Heart” and “Leave It.””

Uh, no. Downes was out of Yes before 90125 was released (he was in Asia at that time). Trevor Horn did produce the album, IIRC, but wasn’t a performer. Trevor Rabin had joined the band, with Jon Anderson returning for 90125.
