Apple Trailers has posted the theatrical trailer for Disney/Pixar’s upcoming animated feature WALL•E.

You can watch it at Apple in standard and HD formats (and iPhone too!).

Can I just say … FINALLY!!! In this theatrical trailer, we finally get to see the solitary robot WALL•E interact with the search robot EVE (he he) and go off planet. Seriously, this movie, directed by Andrew Stanton, is going to be one of the best films of the year, I know it (and have been saying it since June — see A Look at Pixar’s Upcoming Projects).

WALL•E arrives in theaters on June 27, 2008, and given the choice between this and Wanted, I’m going to see WALL•E first for sure.

Official Synopsis

What if mankind had to leave Earth, and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off?

Academy Award®-winning writer-director Andrew Stanton (“Finding Nemo”) and the inventive storytellers and technical geniuses at Pixar Animation Studios (“The Incredibles,” “Cars,” “Ratatouille”) transport moviegoers to a galaxy not so very far away for a new computer-animated cosmic comedy about a determined robot named WALL•E.
