		<description>Mo, I&#039;d say you&#039;re out of step with most readers in your opinions of Watchmen. Perhaps it just isn&#039;t for you?

Watching the clip, I think they&#039;ve got the look down brilliantly. I&#039;m still not expecting that much from the movie, though. The brilliance of Watchman seems to me to be tied up in how specifically it is a comic and how it does stuff that only comics can and also to the accumulation of all the material and the apparently irrelevant storylines. I&#039;m not sure how they can capture even a fraction of this in the movie. In a way I hope that they don&#039;t even try and throw out the idea of being faithful to source - instead making the best movie they can that goes over the same ideas and captures the spirit of the original. For example, I love the film version of Farenheit 451 - mainly because it is a different, but complementary, experience to reading the book (which I also love).</description>
