Video: ‘South Park’ Overlogging

Empress Eve   |

South ParkIn the last episode of South Park, “Overlogging,” the residents find themselves without any Internet service. As you can imagine, they go into serious withdrawal, especially Stan’s dad Randy, who’s going crazy without his Internet porn.

For those of you who didn’t catch the episode, you can also watch the full episode at South Park Studios (and I highly suggest you do).

Here below are two clips from “Overlogging.” The first one, “It’s Just Gone,” will give you an idea of the town’s reaction to losing the Internet — total mayhem. It’s like a scene from a zombie movie (watch as Peterman throws himself and his laptop onto the car windshield).

The second clip, “No More Blue Balls,” takes place at the “Internet Refugee Camp.” It’s is definitely NSFW and you’ll want to make sure the kids aren’t near by. It shows how desperate Randy is for Internet porn and exactly what types of porn he likes (Brazilian fart porn, anyone?). It’s one of those moments where I can’t believe that the makers get away with airing this stuff — but I’m sure glad they do!

I do remember a time when there was no internet. Some days I miss it.

Luke: Leia, do you remember your life before the internet? Your real life?
Princess Leia: Just a little bit. It died when I was very young.
    Luke: What do you remember?
Princess Leia: Just… images really. Feelings.
    Luke: Tell me.
Princess Leia: It was… very beautiful. Kind, but sad. Why are you asking me this?
Luke: I have no memory of my life before the internet. I never knew it.
