There’s also a “coming soon” website that has gone up for the film, which will be released in 2009. At the site, you can see the preview image (the same as the poster, except without the text at the bottom) and sign up for email updates.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Platinum Studios, Top Cow, and Arclight Films were working on bringing the popular long-running Top Cow comic book series to the big screen (see Studio Trio Brings ‘Witchblade’ To The Big Screen).
While it was revealed at that time that the studios were already scouting a shooting location in Australia, the lead actress — who will play the wearer of the mystical Witchblade — has yet to be announced.
