I'm pretty sure the guy in the last panels is meant to be Green Lantern John Stewart, wondering where his GL ring is. (Not that that clears up the massive muddle of this issue, just opens another question.)

Yes,he's the monitor Nix Uotan from earth 51.
And about J'onn, he was prisoned on a flame cage by the villains on the prison planet(salvation run). At the end of JLA 21, there's a boom tube openned for him, probably sent by Libra.

Guys, it's only one issue.
Why don't we wait for the next?
Maybe morrison has some plan for this story.

Pretty sure the guy in the bedroom is the mortal version of the banished monitor. Note the hair.

No, I don't understand what the hell that means yet.

Ok, I re-read it and I have to admit you do have some valid points and I reacted kinda harsh to your review, but I think its the fact that 'patience' costs $3.99, in most cases, is what pisses us off so much. That and the fact that 1/7 issues is already down and no progress has been made. I am hoping that the series is self contained (except to those who read the non-tie in 'tie ins') is the program here. I initially read it under the influence of 'Mary' and the excitement got to me. lol.

My apology, in any case.

Uhhh...ONE ISSUE AND ALREADY THE HATING HAS COMMENCED? I'm not surprised. Whenever MORRISON begins a spin all the haters who don';t like the mans previous work begin the fanboy burial. Although I am also wondering where LIBRA pluckd J'ONN (Martian Manhunter) from, I am giving the man the benefit of the doubt that he will explain this in a later issue.

PATIENCE, Hater. Patience.
