G4‘s Attack of the Show interviewed Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier, who said that we might be seeing Captain America in his film! You can watch the full interview here below.
In “Iron Man” there’s the Captain America shield somewhere. Well, in “Hulk” you might see Captain America himself.
Leterrier is referring a scene in Iron Man in Tony Stark’s workshop where Captain America’s red, white, and blue shield can be seen in the background. Regarding the Captain America cameo in The Incredible Hulk, there’s been no reports from people who attended preview screenings to confirm this. What we do know is that the blue serum that is used to turn Steve Rogers into the super-soldier Captain America is scene in the Incredible Hulk (see ‘Iron Man’ and ‘Incredible Hulk’ Tip Hat to ‘Captain America’).
Leterrier also said he’d love to do an Incredible Hulk sequel.
I have a feeling they’re referring to the scene with Blonsky hopped up on super soldier serum going up against the Hulk.

I attended yesterday’s premiere and, unless I really missed something, can tell you Captain America doesn’t appear in The Incredible Hulk. In fact, neither does Doc Sampson, who probably wound up on the cutting room floor.
However, we do see the beginnings of a Hulk baddie. I won’t reveal who, but you’ll get it.
Overall a really fast-paced, fun film. This is what the first one should have been. Hulk SMASH!!!!!
