Instead I waited, and eventually the fully realised vision was restored and released in the 'Alexander: Revisited' edition, which is an enormous, rich, in-depth, blood-thirsty and satisfying telling of his life. Don't even bother with the theatrical release, it's utterly soulless. Grab 'Revisited' and see Stone's original vision. It's magnificent.
