Recently, word was flying around that there maybe might have sorta possibly been an offer to The Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier for the job to direct the big budget Superman Returns sequel, Superman: Man of Steel. With these rumors, everyone wondered if it was true that the job had been offered to Leterrier as well as if the goal was to replace Bryan Singer.
Almost immediately after these rumors surfaced, Leterrier told AICN:
What I meant was that I had been told about a possible reinvention of Superman. Not that I was offered the job.
So that was seemingly shut down pretty quickly, which is apparently good news; Leterrier pissed everyone off with no Captain America sightings in The Incredible Hulk. Note: Don’t promise larger-than-life superhero cameos while trying to sell other larger-than-life superheroes.
Parallel to this, Superman Homepage has what appears to be a casting call from OMEL Courtesy Casting, which was found on Cragslist. It reads:
Plot Summary: A sequel to the summer 2006 action-adventure. Bryan Singer returns to direct with Brandon Routh again playing Clark Kent/Superman.

So, is this place legit? Does this re-affirm Bryan Singer as the man all along? Will the madness ever end?
I have no idea. Maybe. And no, never.
