‘Boondock Saints 2’ Live Video Chat Follow-Up!

The Movie God   |

SaintsThe past couple of days we’ve posted reminders to tune into a live video cast with director Troy Duffy for Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day.

Well, the chat took place live this afternoon. But don’t worry if you happened to miss it — you can still check it out. It won’t be live, but you can go and watch the video here below and watch Duffy answer all the lovely questions, especially those from your favorite website, Geeks of Doom! Yes, indeed, we sent along some questions and what do ya know, Mr. Duffy answered them for us. Even more convenient — our questions are the first ones that are fired off in the hour or so long conference, so all you need to do is push play on the little video below and enjoy!

One of the more interesting things we found out via our questions is that while no one knows how Boondock 2 will do and what will happen down the line, Duffy said he would be more interested in doing a prequel rather than another sequel because he has more ideas for what would happen in a prequel. The director also talked about the casting of Judd Nelson in All Saints Day, who he said is a friend of his, as well as filming locations, amongst many other topics.

Watch the video to check it all out!

Very cool and interesting to see, and super exciting to see how confident he is about his sequel. He seems very devoted and that should make a good movie.

What a dick to his assistant, though.

He mentioned that Peter Fonda is not in the film. Is that just to fool everyone by saying no?

Wow this was a great video. It’s been awhile since I watched the first Boondock movie (I ought to revisit soon). But I love the part when Troy says he’s heard of fans who have their copy stolen by friends. In my senior year of High School my brother showed me the film, and then I showed one of my friends who I thought would find it just as badass. And he did, so much that he has my first copy of the movie to this day, hahah. Can’t wait to see the sequel.
