Deal: ‘Angel’ Seasons 1-5, Box Set Blowout Deals

Empress Eve   |

Amazon’s Gold Box spotlight deal of day is one you really don’t want to miss, Buffy spinoff Angel – Seasons 1-5 30-Disc DVD Set for only 50.99. This set was reduced to $99.99, marked down from $139.98, for their Boxset Blowout, but now the price has been slashed even further, reducing the price down 64%; plus, the individual season sets are all $31.99, so this is really worth it if you’re looking to get into the series. If you’re a fan of the show or you already like Buffy The Vampire Slayer, then you really have to get your hands on Angel. Remember, the spotlight deal is only for today and while supplies last.

Speaking of the DVD Boxset Blowout, it’s still going on where items are on sale for up to 60%.

Get Smart – The Complete Series Gift Set for $106.99 (down from $199.99). I have this one and love it. The original Maxwell Smart in the 1960s television spy comedy, with some commentary by series co-creator Mel Brooks.

Red Dwarf Complete Collection for $137.49 (down from $249.98). We wrote a story on this sci-fi television series and the diehard fans came out of the woodwork. This box set, which includes the complete series on 18 DVDs, has been reduced by 45%, so it’s a great time to catch up on the show before the planned one-hour special airs.

The Sopranos – The Complete Series for $199.49, which has been marked down from the original blowout sale price of $254.99 (down from $399.99 list price – jeez!).

Abbott and Costello: The Complete Universal Pictures Collection for $83.99 (down from $119.98). This is all 28 of the comedy duo’s movies made by Universal Pictures, ones like Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy where the twosome face the Universal monsters.

Everybody Loves Raymond – The Complete Series for $122.49 (down from $199.98). I know about three people in my family that would want this complete collection of the sitcom about a dysfunction Italian family from New York (something they can relate to!) starring comedian Ray Romano.

Star Trek: The Next Generation – Complete Series for $326.99 (down from $455.95). While it’s definitely in the higher price range, I thought I’d mention it because it’s the first time the entire 7-season run is available as one box set. The individual season DVDs are between $40-$70 each (damn I paid over $100 years ago!). This 49-disc set contains all 176 episodes and has all-new special features.
