I don't really think that Howard is a good fit for this type of film. There are so many other directors out that may not be as award winning but would still be better equipped to direct not only a possibly horror-genre film but a graphic novel adaptation. I guess it's a wait and see on this one.

I'm not sure how I feel about this...
One on hand, that graphic novel DOES look pretty good, and if done right a Lovecraftian movie would be... interesting.
On the other: Lovecraft is scary because of what he leaves to the imagination, because of the unimaginable horrors that one cannot possibly visualize, thusly destroying any chance at a good movie.
So if Ron Howard can follow Lovecraft's style and make a movie that will have everyone shitting their pants, then I will see it
I guess

Sweet! Considering that HPL is probably one of the best horror and THE best pulp authors of the 20th century. I'm really looking forward to this. Plenty of HPL adaptations have been done, but I think it's time we get a flick that won't be relegated to a sub-B movie status. Bring on the Eldritch Horrors!
