There are so many other directors out that may not be as award winning but would still be better equipped to direct not only a possibly horror-genre film but a graphic novel adaptation. One on hand, that graphic novel DOES look pretty good, and if done right a Lovecraftian movie would be... interesting. On the other: Lovecraft is scary because of what he leaves to the imagination, because of the unimaginable horrors that one cannot possibly visualize, thusly destroying any chance at a good movie. So if Ron Howard can follow Lovecraft's style and make a movie that will have everyone shitting their pants, then I will see it I guess I’m not sure how I feel about this…
