What would John Cleese's character ask an alien?

Klotu meets with another of his species in the McDonald's.
30 years of observation and this is the best he can do.

Some very heavy moments but given to trite dialogue and the action of harming life to eat a tuna sandwich, crazy.

This could have been a great theme revisited.

I like the ending with no machine working and capabilities turned off, sink or swim mankind.

I have so many questions about this theme, I would like to here more.

I just watched new The Day the Earth Stood Still last week. It was OK, but I can see why it disappointed most people. The story was good, but the script just had no life. It was like it was a draft and not given much depth. The dialogue had no impact. It conveyed information and that's about it. The scene with John Cleese was pretty good though.
