]]> By: Siah http://www.geeksofdoom.com/2009/05/23/movie-review-terminator-salvation/comment-page-1/#comment-751367 Siah Tue, 26 May 2009 17:26:34 +0000 http://geeksofdoom.com/?p=21436#comment-751367 I'm 50% on this.. at first this movie is an action flic and as far as that aspect goes it scored 95% - as far as acting, Bale did a good job, but I feel that Worthington's performance connected more with the viewers - u were rooting for this guy more than Connor by the end of the flic - just as we rooted for Arnold in T2 and T3 - I think they could have crammed more into this flic but strategically they held off on some things to stretch it out into a trilogy, and so I am looking forward to seeing Connor become the leader of the resistance and taking more of a commanding role in the next flic, AND most of all seeing Kyle Reese become a bad ass Resistance fighter.. Bottom line - the movie was exciting, fun, and damn good... it was like Mad Max / Fallout 3 meets Transformers.. stop comparing it to Star Trek ;-] Question: Wouldnt it have been a cool twist if at the end of this flic Connor was repaired with cybernetic parts and hence becomes part machine, an ironic twist on his hatred for the machines.. ??? I personally thought the the CG Arnold was pretty mind blowing. I was expecting like a bad Xbox 360 vibe but it was definitely somewhat beyond that.
