Personally, I was awed by the episode “Jet Set,” set partly in LA and Palm Springs, as it seemed to “dip into the future” by a few years.

I was born in 1951, so the 1962 era is reasonably familiar to me, as an 11-year-old would see it. But the “Jet Set” episode captured the “coming of the future,” from the NASA/rocket conference in LA to the uber-strange Jet Setters in their desert (launch?) pad.

I’ve never seen a better t.v. series, nor have many films come up to this level.
