While roaming the convention floor, our guys on the prowl happened upon a teenage girl wearing a very clever costume of the H1N1 virus, known more commonly as the Swine Flu.
What’s even more curious is that they found a teenage girl that wasn’t into Twilight.
That girl was definitely the coolest teenager we spoke to at the con.

The irony that you make fun of Twilight on that video, yet 1/4 of the posts on this blog are Twilight related.
And yes, you lose a 1/4 of my attention when they are posted.

I like you a lot and respect your opinion and enjoy your comments, but I have to tell you that this site is not 1/4 Twilight! It is a book series and film franchise and we cover it, as we have a lot of readers who were into it from the very beginning. At this convention there were a few Twilight panels, so they were covered, but so was Torchwood, Firefly, and other panels, as well as scenes from the convention floor (and more to come, our coverage hasn’t concluded). If our adult male reporter feels like poking a little fun at Twilight, that’s up to him. And when you have a site, it’s not up to the writers to love or hate the item they are covering, it’s up to them to provide news coverage on that item. I’ve covered plenty of things I wasn’t personally into, but it’s part of what has to be done for the site. Not all readers are going to love every story – I have my favorite sites, but I don’t love every subject covered. So, I just move onto the next story. It’s the same in newspapers and magazines – just turn the page. :-)

@Empress – All good, Eve. I was exaggerating the 1/4. I totally respect the angle you all take on it. Twilight is not the only news I “ignore”… I’ve never been a fan of horror either, but it’s a niche within this geek market that needs met on such a site like this. I did not mean offend if it came out that way.
