Loved their stuff as a kid, to the point of over-exposure. Now, they come across as really hokey and simple. On the other hand, why remake a film that's practically perfect in every way? (At least, the international version is practically perfect; the original US version suffered a bit with the exclusion of "Hey Bulldog" and a few scenes revolving around the Lonely Hearts Club Band.) Couldn't he remake and improve the gloriously bad "Sgt. Pepper" instead?
