I must say, I am getting quite sick of the Beatles. Loved their stuff as a kid, to the point of over-exposure. Now, they come across as really hokey and simple. I miss being obsessed with them in a way, but I just wish the Beatles merchandise machine could develop a faulty gear or something.

On one hand, "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" is a hilarious movie that's not as well known as it should be, which proves that Zemeckis has a respect for the Beatles. On the other hand, why remake a film that's practically perfect in every way? (At least, the international version is practically perfect; the original US version suffered a bit with the exclusion of "Hey Bulldog" and a few scenes revolving around the Lonely Hearts Club Band.) Couldn't he remake and improve the gloriously bad "Sgt. Pepper" instead?
