The Mars of this novel is a brutal realm and the whole feel of the story is quite sexy, especially because everyone is naked throughout most of the narrative. Of course, a little clothing could be used for the movie just because I don't think I need to see Green-man-junk swinging for 2 hours, but going right up to that point would be good. I'm certainly interested in this movie. It is a novel that could be splendidly adapted to the big screen. It tells a good story, has great pacing and action, and it has strong romantic elements. Plus John Carter is a bad ass. I agree that an R rating would suit this movie. JCoM is one of the best stories I have ever read and I've read a ton of them. Sadly, I just don't see how this can be done properly without an R-Rating.
