Well, I'm sorry you took such offense, sir.

Ironically, I find it a tad presumptuous of you to focus so strongly on this as my saying that no one knows anything at all about the game. The clean and simple fact in the matter is that I only meant that because this game is not even released yet, no one really knows how it is.

Obviously, in movies and in games, we as fans can know a great amount of details about a game's story, its styles and systems, its characters, and its many technical aspects...all before the game is released. This is common knowledge. What no one ever knows, and what I was referring to specifically, was that "no one knows" anything until we get our eager little paws on the actual game and play out our own fair opinions. You can not achieve that kind of information based on a developer's diary, no matter how much you think you can.

Also, using Robert Downey Jr. to argue your point kinda lessens your argument. Downey Jr. is a very well-respected talent, but he did plenty of projects that were about as far from "arthouse" as you can get before he did Iron Man. This included a lot of SNL, voicing characters on Family Guy, and starring in Disney's The Shaggy Dog with Tim Allen. If you were still shocked at the idea of him being Tony Stark after all of that, then you are severely mislead in your perceptions.

Even looking past all of that, Iron Man is a legendary and iconic figure with pre-existing cultural relevance. Who knows what Dark Void will become, but it is still a fetus that has to prove itself, and it is surely no Iron Man and it will never reach that kind of status.

As for Brad Pitt: he doesn't do exclusively top-o-the-line movies, either. I was only suggesting that it didn't sound like a project he would end up doing, and I even made sure to mention that this did NOT mean it wouldn't happen, just that it was unlikely.

Did you actually read the post? Perhaps you should take yourself up on your own advice to research or at least read carefully before making such bold and assumptive statements.

Once again, my apologies for writing a post that was so strongly to your disliking. Hopefully it does not occur again.

Wow, I guess you don't post critical comments on your site? I didn't say anything vulgar or mean... simply critical. I guess you can't stand a little criticism, my apologies to Movie God's bruised ego.

Umm.. you could watch the developer diaries with tons of gameplay and story footage, along with cut scenes from the game over at G4's website or the official site for the game even.

To say that 'no one' knows much about Dark Void is a bit presumptuous and a better way to put it would have been that 'YOU' don't know much about it.

The game will probably make a great movie based on the actual storyline (not the oversimplified summary you chose to go with), in fact - it could have easily been a movie first... and years ago, no one ever thought that arthouse/oscar winner Robert Downey Jr. would be Iron Man either.. so it's a bit short sighted at best on your part to think Pitt wouldn't star in Dark Void.

I think The Movie God should try doing a bit of research before he puts together a slap dash opinion piece without any clue of which he speaks.
