Director Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) has released plenty of teasing behind the scenes images from his upcoming adaptation of the popular Bryan Lee O’Malley graphic novel Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, but now you can check out two brand new official images from the film.
The first image is of the film’s cast standing next to each other while the other image is rather trippy and shows what appears to be someone running sideways with an awesome flaming sword. Both images are sure to extract pure elation from all of the Scott Pilgrim fans who have yet to get a peek at their favorite comic come to life.

Scott Pilgrim is 23 years old, living in the big city with his gay roommate, just trying to get by in this crazy world. He’s in a band. He’s lazy. He likes video games.

The movie has an strong young cast that includes Michael Cera (Superbad, Juno), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Death Proof, Live Free or Die Hard), Chris Evans (Fantastic Four, Push), Jason Schwartzman (Slackers, The Darjeeling Limited), Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), and Brie Larson (United States of Tara).
