Of all the movies to be done in 3D I think Twister 2 would be the BEST! I think it's even better if Twister 2 recreates the Great Tri-State Tornado of 1925, which was the most powerful and devastating tornado in all history. Have it hit Chicago and level all the skyscrapers in glorious 3D. AWESOME!

As a Midwest kid, I loved Twister. It felt like I was watching an action movie taking place in my own backyard, which hasn't happened since, I might add. If they can make Twister 3D work, then why the hell not? There's worse shit out there. Leap Year, anyone?

Well since 2d of these 3d movies is still widely available, still more screens showing avatar in 2d than in 3d, and more people are by passing the 2d showing and going to the 3d showing 2 and up to 4 to one, I would say a lot of people are voting for movies in 3d rather than 2d. For the movie studios to stop making these 3d movie a lot more people are going to need to buy more 2d tickets. More 3d tickets selling is not going to stop it, plus a lot of people now know what to expect from a 3d movie because they have been coming out regularly for a little over a year now. Yet people keep going back to see the 3d versions. Here in fort myers florida the imax 3d is out selling on weekends and the 7:00 showing on weeknights. Even though there is a 2d showing at the gulf shore mutilplex, which is not selling out near as much.

Not sure about the whole 3D business, but a Twister sequel would be amazing. The original is my favorite movie of all time, and especially if much of the original cast was involved, a sequel could be just as awesome.

I think it's a fantastic idea! Loved the first Twister movie and was always hoping for a sequel... the idea of seeing it in 3D is just icing on the cake! Storm chasing is exciting to watch and imagine how much more exciting it would be if you were actually immersed in the chase. Really hope this idea carries some weight in Hollywood.
