In the same story where Green Lantern director Martin Campbell revealed that Mark Strong was in negotiations to play Sinestro in the movie, he also had some other gems to share, like what other recognizable characters you will see in the movie.
For die hard fans of the comics and mythology, surely there is a dream wish list of characters that they would want to see brought to life. We know Ryan Reynolds will be playing the main Lantern, Hal Jordan; we know that Blake Lively will play his love interest; we know that Peter Sarsgaard is in talks to star as Dr. Hector Hammond.

Well, Kilowog will be,” said Campbell. “Tomar-Re is in it. Sinestro is in it. Abin Sur is in it. All the origin people. Carol [Ferris], of course, who will be played by Blake Lively. All the main characters are there, and it’s a complex story. The origin story of Green Lantern is complex, probably one of the most complex, which makes it a challenge to get it right.
