Dani wasn't a police officer. Sara Pezzini (the former and now current bearer of the witchblade)is a cop. Dani's mom is Sara's police captain. Dani was a dancer in New York who befriended Sara just before the First Born arc. While Sara was in the latter stages of her pregnancy Dani was the bearer of the blade until it was split between the two after Hope's birth. Sara got back all of the witchblade recently and Dani became the new host of the Angelus (that was an awesome arc btw). Just thought I'd clear that up. Best, M.
