‘The Cleveland Show’ Heading To Adult Swim
Tom Cheredar   |

Coming as a surprise to very few people, Adult Swim has started airing The Cleveland Show “Coming Soonish” spots between programming signaling that it will be heading to the network in syndication.

According to a un-sourced statement on Wikipedia, Turner Broadcasting has inked a deal to air the program on both Adult Swim and TBS, thus joining the other two Seth MacFarlane shows Family Guy and American Dad.

We first predicted that Cleveland Brown would be joining the network earlier this year when it was released that Adult Swim would be gaining an additional hour into prime time. [READ: Adult Swim To Start An Hour Earlier In 2011]

Now that TBS has signed a deal with Conan O’Brien, it’s becoming even more clear that this is just one more piece of Turner’s game plan to take over late night television with programming that’s attractive to a demographic that’s largely been impossible to capture.

While the Wiki page eludes to the show starting as late as 2013, I’m thinking it’ll be more like Fall 2010.

  • Demonstrable

I could never get into ‘The Cleveland Show’, I kept watching and hoping that the humor would work for me but it just never did. I was really surprised when it got renewed so quickly for another season . I guess either enough people find it funny or they just leave the TV on since it is between other shows they like.
