Voice Talent For ‘Fallout: New Vegas’ Revealed

Merkader   |

There is no voice that is heard more in Fallout 3 than the voice of the radio DJ, Three Dog.

In Fallout: New Vegas there will also be radio streaming out of your Pip-Boy, but this time the voice you hear coming out of it will be none other than Wayne Newton!

Bethesda Softworks has sent out a press release revealing much of the cast of the new highly anticipated Fallout game. Along with Newton, the cast includes, Zach Levi (Chuck), Matthew Perry (Friends), Kris Kristofferson (Blade trilogy), Danny Trejo (Machete), Michael Dorn (Star Trek: The Next Generation), William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption), Felicia Day (The Guild, Dr. Horrible), and of course, Ron Perlman (Hellboy), will once again return as the narrator of the game. Other cast includes John Doman (The Wire) and Rene Auberjonois (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine).

So who might this fantastic collection of voice talents be playing in the game? We have the complete rundown for you!

As mentioned above, Wayne Newton himself will be our radio DJ source for all the happenings in the Mojave Wasteland, and his name will be Mr. New Vegas. Perry will play a guy named Benny, a smooth-talking gangster type who also happens to be as two-faced as they come. The popular Chuck star Levi will play Arcade, who has a mysterious past and is a member of the Followers of the Apocalypse. Felicia Day will play Veronica, a member of a group that those who played Fallout 3 will be familiar with: the Brotherhood of Steel, where she’s a sarcastic scribe.

My favorite role may be Danny Trejo’s, who will voice Raul the Ghoul, a former gunslinger who now works as a mechanic. Tell me Trejo won’t make a great ghoul. Another name that will be Star Trek regular Michael Dorn, who is reprising his role as the popular Fallout 2 character, Marcus the intellectual Supermutant. The always-popular Kristofferson will play Chief Hanlon, and tough old soldier at the end of his career.

Rounding things out, Sadler will play a friendly robot named Victor who has the personality of an old-fashioned cowboy, John Doman is Caesar, the powerful dictator leader of Caesar’s Legion, and Auberjonois will be the reclusive Mr. House.

Certainly seems like a list a geek made up! What great voice talent this game is going to have. I was excited to play this game just because I loved Fallout 3, now I’m excited to spot Felicia Day’s voice. Time to watch Dr Horrible again!

Fallout: New Vegas comes out October 16th for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
