8 New High Resolution ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ Images

Marvel Studios: Captain America: The First Avenger, preview image 01Last week, EW released online the first official photo of Chris Evans as Captain America for Marvel’s upcoming film Captain America: The First Avenger [Read First Official Photo Of Chris Evans As Captain America]. The image was on the cover of their most recent issue, which also contained several other photos from the film.

Now, Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures have officially released the high resolution versions of eight new images. Check them out there below.

The images feature Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America; Hugo Weaving as Johann Schmidt/The Red Skull; and Hayley Atwell as Major Peggy Carter, as well as a group of HYDRA soldiers and a HYDRA submarine. (The last image is of concept art.)

Captain America: The First Avenger comes to theaters on July 22, 2011.
