With regards to the discussing about commenting about The Green Hornet and people’s reaction/response being framed as it’s “blank” for a January release – I see what you guys are saying in terms of the longevity of your review and looking at the film in the grander scheme of things, but I think a lot of people look at reviews as what to decide to see for that weekend, and in that context it is relevant to place it as a January release.

    I do also think it is a reality that January releases are very different from May releases are from December releases. Call it quality differences vs audience differences, but the truth is they *are* different. I wouldn’t say you should be softer on the review, but I know that my expectations of January releases are lower which does effect the impact of the film watching experience.

    Enjoyed the podcast (although disagree on Kato vision.. I thought that was weird!) especially the Alien Prequel talk – that was news to me!
