Marvel Entertainment Studios just released some high resolution images from their next two big budget films: Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger.
The image of a very angry Thor, played by actor Chris Hemsworth, is now large enough for all you creative fanboy types to cut up into desktop wallpapers and such.
The two photo stills of Captain America (Chris Evans) follow suit, showing off the character’s costume in detail.
I’m still kind of peeved that there are wings painted on the side of Cap’s helmet instead of the actual tiny wings that he has in the comic books. I’ll reserve further judgment for the comment section.

I think Thor looks pretty cool but still on the fence about how well the story will mix Asgard with Earth. Not an easy feat to blend the two. On the other hand, I still have serious doubts about Captain America. For better or for worse, Thor hasn’t had his own feature film yet but Captain America needs to be better than the 1990 flick as well as those silly (sillier?) looking 70’s movies with the spandex costume and motorcycle helmet. I like the muted colors of the new costume aaaaand have decided that I like the airbrushed wings on the helmet better than the actual wings on the 1990 mask (and at that, at least the new costume doesn’t have fake latex ears!). But I don’t know. Still not jazzed about Red skull or Nazi villains. Better be a good story!
