Lionsgate has released the first official look at Twilight heartthrob Taylor Lautner in the upcoming conspiracy thriller Abduction.
The film, which is directed by John Singleton, will be released in theaters on September 23, 2011.
In Abduction, Lautner is playing a teenager who finds his baby photo on a missing persons website, and realizes that something is wrong and that his whole life has been a lie.
Also starring in the film are Sigourney Weaver, Maria Bello, Jason Isaacs, Lily Collins, Alfred Molina, Freema Agyeman, Elisabeth Rohm, and Michael Nyqvist.
Back in June, there was an open casting call for Abduction, which was filming in Pittsburgh, PA, and plenty of Twilight fans showed up hoping to be cast as extras, according to WTAE.
Today, Feature Film Auditions, which had been handling the casting on the movie, posted that casting has been completed. Also, below is the synopsis of the movie that they had up on their site.
The story revolves around 18-year-old Nathan Harper (Lautner) who discovers that his entire life has been a lie, but his perilous quest to find out the truth about his birth parents makes him a target of the CIA and the Serbian Secret Service, both of which are invested in whether Nathan lives or dies.
What do you think of this first pic of Lautner?
