Nooooo!!! Did George Lucas Make Darth Vader Even Wimpier In The ‘Star Wars’ Blu-ray Edition?

[UPDATE: The Darth Vader portion has been confirmed.]
It’s a known fact – George Lucas cannot leave well enough alone.
When it comes to his Star Wars saga, the man just can’t help but go back in and fix what’s not broken, over and over and over again. We’ve had to endure all sorts of indignities, like “Jedi Rocks,” Han not shooting first, and, well, the list goes on and on, I could be here writing all day.
By now, you must all know about the long-awaited Star Wars Blu-ray Editions coming out in September. Oh the excitement to finally see the saga in hi-def. As we learned last week, Lucas did dip back into the pool to do some tweaks, like the one to the Yoda Puppet in Episode I. Ok, fine, fine, I can overlook that. Now, rumor has it that another change is being made that there’s no way in hell any Star Wars fan is gonna be OK with.
Star Wars fan sites and forums are posting that in Return Of The Jedi in the scene where The Emperor is killing Luke with Force lightning as Darth Vader watches on, that Vader now yells, “Nooooo!!!!!!” as he lifts up the Emperor. Sound familiar? Yeah, sounds like that much-ridiculed ending of Episode III. Check out the video below of the scene, which syncs up the new audio with the existing video.
Why, why, why turn one of the most feared villains in film history into such a wimp now? It’s bad enough we had to see him get potty trained in Episode I, be a creepy stalker in Episode II, and finally, look like the biggest wussy in Episode III after he stumbles around in his new Darth Vader outfit (and then there’s the whole “Noooooo!!!!!! that happened during that scene too). Lucas just has to keep humiliating this character — the same one who you used to pray didn’t alter the deal any further!
Now, of course, this news about the revisions could all be bullshit. It’s not that hard to doctor up footage like this, but let’s face it, it’s probably true. Review copies did go out to some outlets, so there are people out there who’ve seen the Blu-ray Edition who are confirming that this is true.
Just watch this video – ugh!! Is this not horrendous? WTF!?!?!?!?!
Then, AICN was sent another video with yet another change it in: In Star Wars: A New Hope, Obi-Wan’s Krayt dragon call now sounds like the Wilhelm Scream. Listen to it in the second video below.

Oh my god, my head just exploded. I can’t take this, please make it stop!!!!!
Being in the generation who grew up with The Phantom Menace and the special editions, I’m not usually one to complain about most of the changes (the Hayden Christensen ghost pisses me off the most, probably because it’s messed up my memories). But this is stupidity in the extreme – it’s HORRIBLE!
Lucas, now you’re even messing with my generation’s memories. The gloves are off.

Is it time to tear up my Revenge of the Jedi teaser poster?

Legit? If so, meh, I can live with it. Re: the Krayt Dragon sound – I wish he’d find a sound and stick with it. Every edition has had a change to that noise. Odd, but a minor annoyance is all.
If these are legit, it makes me wonder what other changes have been made to the Blu-Ray editions. You know, if true, that this will not be the only changes. They are working on new/updated shots for the 3D theatrical showings after all.
