On Halloween night, pop culture icons The Muppets entered the ring of World Wrestling Entertainment for some action, entertainment, and a few laughs, but things might not have gone just how our friends suspected.

In this clip here below, which I find hilarious, Bunsen and Beaker are developing a special energy drink. But when Beaker is on his way to deliver the drink to comedy-oriented wrestler Santino Marella, the villainous Christian shows up and pours out the potion they were concocting and assaults the fuzzy lab assistant.

But all was well, you see, because WWE Superstar Sheamus came to the aid of Beaker, and what follows is a perfect example of why The Muppets were on WWE’s Monday Night Raw.

The rest of the show was pretty much what I expected it would be, there were some ups and some downs, but I won’t go into insults to anyone involved because, like us, a lot of the WWE talent are Muppets fans, also. I mean, if I had the chance to be an intimidating character that sort of threatens Kermit the Frog, I would absolutely jump at that possibility, wouldn’t you? The Muppets’ brand of humor was right at home with WWE’s newfound PG status. All in all, it was a well-rounded fun and entertaining night of television.
