For the latest installment of his video series “[the films of],” which has condensed the filmographies of directors such as Ridley Scott and Sofia Coppola, Kees van Dijkhuizen jr. has turned his focus to one of the most popular and polarizing of the visionary filmmakers to emerge in the past three decades in [the films of] Tim Burton.

For the music accompanying the clips, Danny Elfman, Burton’s composer of choice, would of course be the natural selection. Say what you will about Burton’s later films such as Planet of the Apes and Alice in Wonderland, they still look pretty good in montage form. Enjoy!
