Despite having his shows ripped from production a handful of times, Bryan Fuller appears to be as hot a TV name as ever.
Just around two weeks following the finishing of his script for a Munsters reboot, Deadline is reporting that NBC has given the show a pilot order, officially announcing the return of the beloved comedy franchise.
The script was sent out earlier this month and appears to have found a bit of buzz, following Fuller’s straight-to-season ordered Hannibal Lecter series, announced earlier this Fall.
Personally, as a fan of Fuller, this is great news. I have absolutely no interest in seeing this franchise rebooted, nor do I actually have much nostalgia for the franchise as a whole, but with Fuller behind the reboot, things definitely get a bit more interesting. Here’s to hoping it can last a bit longer than his shows are known to last.
