Talk about a way to kickstart some buzz.
With its green light recently revealed, Bryan Fuller’s The Munsters reboot, currently slated to be housed over at NBC, has found a director and a producer in the form of none other than Bryan Singer (X-Men, X2). The show is a reboot of the beloved 1960s series, and has recently gotten a pilot order from the company, and now has Singer as its pilot’s director.
Personally, I think the choice is an odd one, particularly for the Superman Returns director, a filmmaker who has seemed to have lost a bit of mojo as project after project appears to have stalled. I like the pick up a lot, as I think he’s a fine director, but he’s also one that frankly doesn’t seem like the type that would love to take his talents to the small screen. He definitely has talent though, so here’s to hoping he can help this project really succeed.
