From wooing Don Draper to a romance that is, well, a bit more supernatural.
THR is reporting that Mad Men star and Don Draper’s mistress, Abigail Spencer has joined the cast of the upcoming film, In Your Eyes.
Co-written and produced by Joss Whedon under his Bellwether Pictures banner, the film will be helmed by Ball Don’t Lie director Brin Hill, and will follow the story of “two people who are preternaturally or supernaturally connected, despite being polar opposites.”
Not much is known about this project, but with Whedon involved, it has a whole lot of geek anticipation behind it. The film sounds rather interesting, and as a huge fan of Spencer as an actress, particularly on the aforementioned hit AMC TV series, this could be one hell of a spark for her career, and one hell of a motion picture. Hill is a filmmaker that has yet to truly prove himself, so expect something really special here.
