What The… Ariel From ‘The Little Mermaid’ Used To Sell Plastic Surgery In Venezuela
The Movie God   |

The Little Mermaid Image

A strange advertisement has been found for a Venezuelan plastic surgery office using Ariel from the beloved Walt Disney animated hit, The Little Mermaid.

The company, called Clinica Dempere, shows Ariel with a (much slimmer) Ursula, then swimming off to the surgery table before showing off her lovely new legs, as well as other new…assets.

You can check out the ad below and share your thoughts.

In The Little Mermaid Ariel decides that she wants to have real human legs so that she can walk on land and be with dreamy prince, but, in traditional fairy tale fashion, she has to make a deal with someone evil in exchange for her beautiful voice and find a way to experience true love’s kiss in order to solidify the effect and get her voice back.

Something tells me the movie wouldn’t be quite as appealing if she just went off to the local plastic surgery joint and went under the knife.

Wow that drawing is really bad. I hope Disney tells them to take it down. Bad taste indeed.

Disney is known to be hard-liners when it comes to copy-write infringement. Even my film school teacher warned us never to include references to disney in any of our student films.
