Kat Dennings Gets Expanded Role In ‘Thor: The Dark World’

eelyajekiM   |

Kat Dennings In Thor

Thor: The Dark World wouldn’t be as much fun of a sequel without Kat Dennings, who starred in Thor as a political science student who gets misplaced with the wrong internship and caught up in the battle of the cosmos along with Natalie Portman and Stellen Skarsgard. Her quick wit and sarcasm provided some great humor for the movie and now she is officially signed on to appear in the sequel, which is expected to start shooting this fall.

As to the reason why it might have taken so long to get her signed on, well, it’s because of her commitment to the hit CBS comedy, Two Broke Girls. According to Deadline, all of that has been worked out. She even gets an expanded role in the sequel, which means she could do more than just mispronounce Mjolnir on multiple occasions. She certainly deserves to do more than just spew out a few witty one-liners. So we’ll see what she can do when the time comes.

Dennings joins Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins,Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, and newcomers Christopher Ecceleston and Alice Krige. Thor: The Dark World will be directed by Alan Taylor, who uses a script written by Robert Rodat.

Thor: The Dark World will open in theaters on November 8, 2013.

I hate how hard it is to leave a comment. Now I have to sign up w/ Disqus. I already have Google and Twitter identities. But will they work? NO.

I’m very happy to hear Kat Dennings will be back in Thor: The Dark World. She made the first movie way more fun than it would have been without her. I’m a huge fan of everything Kat does, I’ve been a fan of hers since ‘Raising Dad’ on the WB network. The more Kat Dennings in anything the better!

This is great news, Kat Dennings was so cute and sexy in the first Thor movie, it’s not everyone who steal the show from Natalie Portman! But will she be worthy to lift “Meow-Meow”?

More work for her is cool with me.

Already funnier than Two Broke Girls. and WAY less racist.

  • FAT_ORANGE_TABBY

There is nothing racist about 2 Broke Girls. It’s not politically correct, but that doesn’t make it racist. And. it’s one of the FUNNIEST SHOWS ON TV!
