The Movie God   |

Dishonored Image

So you’ve played Dishonored (if not, check out our review and pick it up immediately!), and, as you may have been able to tell, the game let’s you do a whole lot of things a whole lot of different ways. The options are seemingly endless in how you approach every move, and it’s because of that that the game has made so many fans.

This also means that fans of the game are able to make some pretty spectacular videos showing off all of the wild and crazy stuff they pull off in the game. Publisher Bethesda Softworks has taken notice of all of these great videos, and they want to reward someone with a very cool prize, one of Sokolov’s paintings you collected in the game.

Continue reading to find out how to put your unique Dishonored moves to good use and enter the contest, and see an image of the painting you can win.

Bethesda is seeking to put together a “Best Of Dishonored” video compilation, which will shows off a collection of the best kills, power combos, and stealth moves you the players have pulled off.

Even better, one incredibly lucky lad or lady will be selected as the best of these videos, and that person will be given a super special Anton Sokolov painting that was created for the game’s PAX East party.

Here’s the dirty details, and you can see the painting below:

Starting today, we’re looking for the most creative power combos, the craziest kill moves and the sneakiest feats of stealth on YouTube. To enter the contest, simply upload a direct capture Dishonored video clip to YouTube — under 60 seconds and at 720p quality — by 11:59pm EST on October 31.

There are two ways to submit your entry:

1. Email us a link to your video at “bethblog@bethsoft.com” with subject line “Dishonored Killer Moves”

2. Tweet a link to your video with hashtag “#DishonoredKillerMoves”

If we like your clip, we’ll request your high-quality raw video file from you, so hold on to that. We’ll then include your footage in a compilation video and credit you appropriately, while the player with the most impressive clip will win a framed Dishonored painting. Preference will be given to clips with music disabled, and direct capture is a must.

For all of the details and rules, click through. Good luck!

While you’re here, share some of your best Dishonored moments!
