There’s no denying that Dark Souls, the game developed by Japanese company From Software, is one of the hardest ever created. It can be viciously infuriating, yet the sense of accomplishment in conquering it makes it a must play for most who call themselves gamers, and not just those with an affinity for self-torment.
In an exceptional re-imagining of the game, someone has created a magazine ad for the arcade version of Dark Souls, complete with some screenshots of memorable moments/enemies from the game. You can check it out below.
While not easy to accomplish, turning this game into an arcade game would be one way to make it even more tortuous to play. Not only would you die a sickening amount of times (use these buttons to not die!), but you’d have to pay to keep playing. It would take a bank-breaking amount of quarters to defeat it, ultimately costing the player much more than the $60 it first cost on current generation platforms.

I dont think they made enough quarters for this.
