Here at Geeks of Doom, we like to show off new games right from the get go. Well, it just so happens that Wizards of the Coast is totally cool with that and they keep me well informed (and stocked with samples).
This Friday, November 8, the new expansion set Kaijudo – Invasion Earth, hits the shelves at better book, hobby, and game stores nationwide. I’ve included a preview of the deck and boosters below.

In this latest set, players must defend the world against total domination. The Choten is leading his army of corrupted creatures through the Veil to conquer the world and only a Kaijudo Duel Master can stand in their way. The
Invasion Earth booster packs, featuring all-new super rares ($3.99) and the
Choten’s Army competitive decks ($11.99) provide a duelist with more power to strengthen their attacks.
Players can continue to duel with their new decks at the weekly Duel Day events at local participating game stores around the country. Winners of each tournament match will also win promo card prizes!

This expansion adds another 90 cards to the game and is closely tied into the television series. If you haven’t checked it out yet, do so. Any true fan of Trading Card Games is sure to enjoy this series. Though, to be honest, it’s more than just a game, it’s a multimedia experience. Play on, my friends!
