Geek Gear: Back To The Future ‘OutaTime’ Shirt With Metallic Ink

The $11 t-shirt deal of the day over at TeeFury today is called “OutaTime” by CoD Designs and is a Back To The Future-inspired Delorean shirt featuring metallic ink.
The sale began at Teefury today, Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at midnight EST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site for $11 anymore, though it will continue into the next day for $14 (look for the After Hours bar at the top).
Teefury now offers a few colors for each design; click on the color blocks in the “Select your color, size & quantity” area to preview each color. Men’s sizes are S-XL for $11, 2XL (add $1), and 3XL (add $2); Women’s sizes are S-XL for $11, 2XL (add $1), and 3XL (add $2); and Youth sizes are XS-XL. A tribute to my favorite sci-fi ships, the inspiration came to me when I realized that most of the shirts I really liked to wear where 1 color designs with nice type treatment. I developed the layout after looking at many different crests, shields and even currency. The underlying message is this: Like most sci-fi crafts, this is a car we often dream would be real. This shirt is the closest I could get as a designer to making some type of official badge. This series of shirts in general is a way to not only pay tribute to these awesome machines but to wear them proudly. Sometimes you have to figure out a message on a shirt… with this, the message is loud and clear!
