Though the tentatively titled Batman vs. Superman was pushed back an entire year from its original release date, director Zack Snyder and WB are still working hard to build a great cast. Today they have added Oscar-winning actress Holly Hunter, 300: Rise of an Empire‘s Callan Mulvery, and Captain America: The First Avenger‘s Tao Okamoto.
Deadline reports that the roles have not been specified but they do not have comic book origins, instead these roles have been specifically created for the film itself.
The three join Man of Steel‘s Henry Cavill (Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), and Diane Lane (Martha Kent). Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), and Jeremy Irons (Alfred) also star in the highly anticipated sequel.
Chris Terrio and David Goyer wrote the script, and Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing. The tentatively titled Batman vs. Superman film bows on May 6, 2016.

If Holly Hunter is cast as Hippolyta, I’m done.
