The Star Wars: Episode VII set has been a super secret location, and understandably so. But someone has been busy snapping pictures of the behind the curtain goings on, and TMZ has gotten their hands on the images.
If you’d like to be surprised when the first official images and trailers come along for Episode VII it’s probably best to avoid these. But for everyone else, and especially for those who have been extra skeptical of the movie, the pics are a must-see.
Last month director J.J. Abrams released a video from the set that included a cameo from a puppet character that hinted that the movie would, to the utter delight of fans everywhere, be made using plenty of practical effects and not filmed entirely on a green screen set and in a computer.
But that was just a hint. This collection of behind-the-scenes set images show just how dedicated this movie is to using practical effects. The most exciting thing to see is what looks like a full size (or at least partial) Millennium Falcon being built, and there’s also a massive pig creature on set well worth seeing.
If interested, you can see the Falcon images at TMZ here, and the pig creature and many more set images right here.
